Guest guest
Hi All, (Apologies for duplicate postings). Come to the Redwood Forest to work up an appetite before Pam & Roy's Lake Temescal VFP! We'll be hiking to one of the highest points in Oakland-- Redwood Peak, at 1619' (a good cardio workout)! Sections are steep with rocky steps, so wear sturdy shoes. I haven't yet decided on our exact route so the distance is unknown at this point, but the hike will last about 1.5-2 hrs. If you've never been to Redwood Park, you won't believe that you're in Oakland! We'll meet at my house across from Redwood Park at 10am and leave for the Park at 10:15am sharp. Feel free to store your VFP dish inside, but refrigerator space will limited (my house is cool, though). Cold drinks will be served after our hike, then we'll bring our hunger to Lake Temescal! Please e-mail me directly for directions and address. I hope you can make it!
