Guest guest
Does anyone know if the menu changed from it's former name " Lombard Streed Cafe? It offers a surprisingly large menu selection of appetizers such as vegan pizzas crisps, salads, and entrees such as vegan fettuccine alfredo and lasagna, mostly raw and super fresh and delicious. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I were there at dinner time and were the only two people dining there. Leland (the owner) really needs business to pick up or I dont see how this place will make it. If any of you are ever in the Marina or know other veggies that live in the city please stop by and tell your friends. Its really worth a visit. Alive! Guest guest
I am planning a group dinner at ALIVE! as soon as their new sign is up. I've planned 3 dinner parties there and we all had a fabulous time. I am sort of surprised that only a small hand full of people from this list went to the dinners at Alive! ALIVE!'s menu is pretty much the same. They might added a few menu items but not much. Their organic tea is a great deal. My favorites there is their homemade raw salad dressing and vegan Cheese cake. The Cesar dressing is ALIVE and AWESOME. It's SOUL ALIVE! If you don't know, there's an inexpensive parking lot one block away, which is above the post office. , LovlyLily@a... wrote: > > Hi everyone- > > I went to eat at Alive the other day and was blown away by how amazing the > food was. My wife and I have eaten there a number of times in its incarnation as the Lombard Coffee Shop. Leland is a wonderful guy, the food is great, and the background music is sublime. One serious problem for us: the service has always been terribly slow. Leland told us he's been looking for an assistant. My question: how long was the wait for your entrees? Best, Michael Michael R.
