Guest guest
Greetings: The Bureau of Humane Law Enforcement's first benefit dinner is coming up this Saturday, August 28, 6PM at Woodlands Restaurant on 39203 Cedar Boulevard in Newark. Ten percent of our dinner bill will be donated to BHLE. The restaurant would like a headcount by Thursday. If you plan on attending, please send me a quick email back or call (925) 487-4419. We can arrange a carpool if you are interested as well. Established in Spring 2004, BHLE is a California-based organization devoted to defending all animals through the law. BHLE aims to protect companion, wild and farmed animals throughout the Golden State. BHLE's team of compassionate volunteers will work in partnership with local humane organizations and city/county/state enforcement agencies to prevent animal cruelty and neglect. Currently, BHLE has three humane officers trained for investigative/rescue field work. In order for BHLE to start helping animals in California, approximately $8,000 needs to be raised. Sincerely, Christine Morrissey
