Guest guest Posted August 9, 2004 Report Share Posted August 9, 2004 I am a graduate student at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco currently working on my MFA thesis project. I am designing a large scale exhibition about vegetarianism and I am looking for volunteers to be interviewed and photographed for inclusion in the show (to be displayed in a gallery in downtown SF). My thesis project is about portraying the culture we live in and promoting a plant based diet through addressing the common myths associated with a vegetarian diet. The visual representation of different peoples' shared stories and positive examples will create a dialogue and give a different perspective on vegetarianism itself. Since this is a student project there is no compensation involved but I would be happy to give participants prints of the photos. I am specifically looking for vegetarians who do not fit the old- fashioned " hippie " stereotype.
