Guest guest
Thank you to everyone who came. That was a blast! Special thanks to everyone who helped with set up and clean up, people who brought lots of food and friends, and to everyone who gave donations. Ifve gotten a surprising number of emails asking when the next BBQ will be. Some one suggested a beach bonfire, which sounds like lots of fun. If you have any ideas, opinions or suggestions please email me. -sobaysean
Guest guest
Thank You so much Sean for orgnizing and "workng" this event and not to mention the expense you put out...and to any others who helped as well! I had a really good time, and what great tasty bites too!!! BUT...most of all it was great to connect with other lovers, and campaigners for vegan, animal rights, and all around caring people! This is a fabulous outreach to the community... the more often it happens the more the "general Public", (they are such nice folks aren't they?) will hear about and attend...Let's keep it up. A couple of quick thoughts: the bonfire could be a sacrificial symbol of some kind like everyone bring an image, a story of an animal issue that we can offer as a sacrifice to the Giant Vegan White Trash _________? Also I noticed several people walking by our tables..looking curious...it would be good to have samples and leaflets there...or even just a stack of them there just for grabs. If we all brought an extra box of burgers to pop on the Barby we would have had enough to offer those passer-by's the leaflet could have an invite to the next pre-set WTV Event. obaysean <sean wrote: Thank you to everyone who came.
