Guest guest
My friend's household has been approached for help by a pretty beat up kittycat. Her account (the friend's, not the cat's) of the cat's situation appears below. Anyone know of any vets who might be able to inexpensively provide care to get this kitty feeling well again? Please email my friend directly sr. Thanks, Sandra And here's the sad tale of Uncle Daddy... Can you help lead me to information or a low-cost veterinarian clinic that will help my housemates and I take care of our new cat friend, Uncle Daddy? He arrived at our house about a week ago looking pretty haggard — there’s a bit of his ear missing, his coat was pretty rugged and torn, and he looked about a third of his natural weight. He also flinched whenever anyone tried to pet him. He was definitely giving off the vibe of an abused and abandoned house cat. We’ve been feeding him and loving him, and just trying to decide what the best thing to do for him is. His health and mood have improved significantly. He’s still missing fur in a few places around the neck and spine, and has very tender scabs all over. Does this sound like a flea problem, or something more serious? We want to take him in to the vet, but I’m afraid that if he has a more serious problem, we won’t be able to afford his treatment. We don’t really want to try any home remedy or OTC flea treatment, on account of aggravating his scabs. We’re pretty much completely in love with him and want to do whatever we can to help, so yeah, if you know anything, please pass it my way. Take Mail with you!
