Advocates will distribute vegan literature while screening video footage of animals harmed in agriculture. Books Not Bombs Rally August 8 Time: 1 - 3 PM Location: 554 Jackson Avenue, Livermore Info: Visit the EBAA exhibit at the Books Not Bombs Rally. Advocates Forum: Legal Training August 10 (Note Date Change) Time: 7 PM Location: 839 52nd Street, Oakland Info: Join us for a screening of Copwatch's 'These Streets Are Watching', a 50-minute documentary covering basic legal concepts, tactics for documenting police activity and ideas for further action and organizing. Oakland A's Vegetarian Outreach August 13 Time: 6:30 PM Location: Oakland A's Coliseum, Staircase Connecting the Oakland Bart Station to the Coliseum Pedestrian Overpass Info: The Coliseum is the home to the veggie dog & other healthy goodies. Advocates will distribute ballpark vegetarian guides. KFC Feed-In August 14 Time: 1 PM Location: KFC, 470 Lake Park Avenue, Oakland Info: Outside the fast food restaurant, advocates will distribute information on KFC's inhumane treatment of chickens and serve mock chicken to customers.
