Party for Animal Lovers at Enrico's, A Summer Tradition

Animal lovers are invited to Enrico's Sidewalk Cafe in North Beach on Sunday, July 11 for the 15th Anniversary Party of San Francisco Animal Care and Control, the city's 24-hour, open-door animal shelter. This will be the fourth annual celebration benefiting the municipal animal shelter hosted by Enrico's. The popular eatery will offer their famous vegetarian pizzas, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, a live jazz trio and a no-host bar. The animal shelter's hardworking staff, including their own "Animal Cops," will receive special recognition at the

event.

 

A popular silent auction will feature dozens of prizes, from round trip tickets to Hawaii, restaurant dinners, works of art, ballet tickets, Oriental rugs, and bed & breakfast getaways to pet-sitting, pet daycare and dog-walking services. Dogs on leash are welcome in Enrico's sidewalk patio, a good place to meet other animal lovers. Many singles who are members of online dating and socializing services are also expected this year.

 

The nonprofit Friends of San Francisco Animal Care and Control (FSFACC) is again producing the event. Admission is $20 per person; $15 for FSFACC members, seniors, people on fixed incomes and full-time students; and free for kids under six and those who join FSFACC at $35 a year or above. The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. Enrico's is at 504 Broadway (at Kearny) in North Beach.
