Hi veggies, I haven't posted before, but I've been off and on the list for a while. Anyone want to recommend a restaurant in Santa Rosa?

Thanks in advance, Eric

Eric:

We recently spent 10 days at Dr. McDougall's program in S.R. Most of the restaurants there have a separate McDougall menu (vegan-no-fat). They took us to two good ones: Gary Chu's Chinese on 5th St. and California Thai on 7th St.

However we are having trouble getting good McDougall meals in S.F. Are there any McDougallers in S.F. and do you know of any restaurants where we can eat vegan and no-fat? The only ones we found are Fleur de Lys, which has an Ornish menu (same as McDougall), but it's extremely expensive, and Fresh Choice, but you have to pick out the vegan, no-fat dishes. We can go to Mexican and Thai and get McDougall meals, but it's hard.
