Guest guest
Hi, Sandy. Thanks for your nice email. I went to the first day of the conference, but not the second day (I wish I could have, but I couldn't make it down to LA on Sunday). I am in total agreement with you on PETA. I've read these online petitions that are trying to take away their non-profit status. If it weren't for their undercover work and campaigning, the public would not have known about alot of the cruelty that was and is still going on behind closed doors. I bought a copy of Meet Your Meat that day, and I'm wanting (as you've read) to do a screening here in Santa Barbara....I just wanted to see if someone had an advertisment flier for the screening (I didn't know how to word things to get people to come). A soft copy sent via email would be fine. I was afraid if I mentioned veganism less people would come....I was going to serve vegan food, I also didn't know if that was a good idea either, because do you serve it before or after the showing of that short film! The reason for my decision to serve them food is so that they would get a taste of vegan food and hopefully would see that it is not that much of a sacrifice to make the change. If anyone has suggestions for me on how to make this a successful screening, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much for your time. ....Farah
