Guest guest
Foie Gras Action: Sonoma Dinner to Feature Cruel Duck Dish On June 27, the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is hosting ‘A Taste of Sonoma’, a KCBS AM Radio-sponsored promotional dinner featuring foie gras. In order to produce foie gras, ducks and geese are force-fed extreme amounts of food via long metal pipes to enlarge the animals’ livers. Public opposition to foie gras has steadily grown in the United States. Worldwide, more than 13 countries have banned foie gras production. First, urge the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa to stop serving foie gras. Second, urge KCBS AM Radio to not sponsor dinners including foie gras dishes.
