South Bay Veg Society trip to Monterey 6/13 10am

Hi, everyone! Join the SBVS for a day trip to lovely Monterey this

coming Sunday, June 13th. We'll meet for carpooling at 10 a.m. at

Dave Pearl's place, located at 2136 Park Avenue,Apartment #3, in San

Jose (Directions listed below). Upon arrival in Monterey, we'll have

lunch at one of Monterey's veggie-friendly restaurants. After lunch,

those of us who are interested can check out the Monterey Bay

Aquarium; others can stroll around downtown or check out the shops at

Cannery Row. If we're lucky, we may even have time to go on a glass-

bottomed boat tour of the Bay! We'll optionally stay down there for

dinner, followed by a concert and wine and cheese reception in

Directionsto Dave's: Take 280 or 101 to Highway 880 to The Alameda

exit. Traveling west on The Alameda going towards Santa Clara make a

left at the first light (Newhall). Go down two blocks and make a

right at the first stop sign (Park). His apartment complex (no-name,

just says 2136 Park Ave. on the building) is down a few hundred yards

on Park Avenue. Park in front of the building/on the street or take

the driveway and park in the back of the complex. His apartment is

#3, third in a row of 10.
