Need suggestions for vegan-friendly readings for wedding ceremony

To those couples who have had a vegan wedding ceremony, do

any of you have any suggestions for passages or quotes that

are vegan/environmental/pro-animal which are appropriate for

a wedding? I am in the midst of drafting a reading for our

officiant and would like to add some elegant text that is

not preachy that would make our non-vegan families think

that this would be an inappropriate place to proselytize

our beliefs. Sometime to the effect of " you will carry

your love for each other to love all upon this earth... "

as an example (and I just made that up).
