Join us for an evening of leafleting and video screening against the sale and

production of foie gras outside

of the Duck Club. Advocates will serve ‘mock foie gras’ to interested customers.

Note: The Duck Club Executive

Chef, Frank Palmer, has not responded to requests from local advocates to stop

serving foie gras. Signs and

leaflets will be provided. If you need a shuttle pick-up at the Lafayette BART

DIRECTIONS

 

FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO:

Take Highway 101 North to San Francisco. Follow the signs to Oakland/Bay Bridge

(I-80) going east. Go over the

bridge and stay to the right. After crossing the Bay Bridge, follow the signs to

Highways 580 and 24. Once on

580, take the Highway 24 exit to Walnut Creek. Drive through Oakland, the

Caldecott Tunnel and Orinda. Take the

Pleasant Hill Road South exit. Turn left at the first signal and the next left,

which is Mount Diablo

Boulevard. Continue up Mount Diablo Boulevard and the hotel will be on your

left.

 

FROM THE OAKLAND:

Take Highway 880 North to I-980 and exit onto Highway 24 East leading to Walnut

Creek and Berkeley. Drive

through Oakland, the Caldecott Tunnel and Orinda. Take the Pleasant Hill Road

South exit. Turn left at the

first signal and at the next left, which is Mount Diablo Boulevard. Continue up

Mount Diablo Boulevard and the

hotel will be on your left.

 

FROM CONCORD AND WALNUT CREEK:

Take 680 South to Highway 24 West. Take the Pleasant Hill Road South exit. Loop

under the freeway and turn

right onto Mount Diablo Boulevard. Continue up Mount Diablo Boulevard and the

hotel will be on your left. (From

San Ramon take 680 North.)

 

FROM SAN JOSE:

Take Highway 680 North. Drive through San Ramon then connect to Highway 24 West

to Oakland. Take the Pleasant

Hill Road South exit. Loop under the freeway and turn right onto Mount Diablo

Boulevard. Continue up Mount

Diablo Boulevard and the hotel will be on your left.
