Guest guest
I was thinking of trying and getting some people together for dinner and a movie and possibly some veggie leafleting in the city. I hear Super Size Me is great movie with a pro-veggie message (or at least anti-carnivore one). It's web site (http://www.supersizeme.com) describes it as " a tongue in-cheek - and burger in hand -- look at the legal, financial and physical costs of America's hunger for fast food. " For dinner I was thinking of heading over to Bok Choy. Bok Choy is an awesome totally vegan Asian restraint which is also relatively close to the theater. If we catch the late showing (9:30pm) those of us interested in leafleting can try and get the crowd from the first showing as they leave (probably at about 8:50pm) as well as the crowd for the late showing. I love the place. Great brown rice with all their meals and a truly nice humble owner who is the nicest person I've ever met when it comes to owners of food establishments. I like item #22 off the formal menu with a side order of brown rice. It's broccoli and snow peas with tofu and some carrots and mushrooms with a sauce. I ask for the tofu raw. They by default will cook the tofu and I prefer mine fresh. The have some " Specials " on the board on the wall when you come in and for some reason there is a number #22 there too, hence I say off the " formal " menu. |<---------------------- " Word-Wrap-At-72-Please " ---------------------->| Bill Schoolcraft PO Box 210076 -o) San Francisco CA 94121 /\ " UNIX, A Way Of Life.
