Guest guest
Dear BAV members, Hi, my name is Stella Sythe. I have been a bay area animal rights activist for 10 years. I have worked with Sonoma People for Animal Rights (SPAR), Animal Rights Direct Action Coalition (ARDAC-SF), Students for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (SETA-SC), In Defense of Animals (IDA), Inti Wara Yassi (IWY-Bolivia), and Esperanza de Libertad (EdL-Bolivia). I am currently the United States Project Coordinator for Esperanza de Libertad. Esperanza de Libertad is a Bolivian Non Governmental Organization (NGO) working to fight the trade of exotic animals from South America. We are currently raising money to buy rainforest land in Bolivia. The land will be spared from deforestation and will eventually be used for rehabilitation and release of animals caught in the animal trade. We are actively looking for support and volunteers and would encourage any one who would interested in finding out more to go to our website at esperanzadelibertad.org or to give me a call at 707-481-5386. We are having our first BENEFIT dinner this Sunday May 30th 2004. The price of the dinner and show is $30, the equivalent of the price of one acre of land in Bolivia. So Please join us, save an acre of rainforest land and have an amazing night!
