I'm anal about these things so I just wanted to point out that the authors

of this ad are getting moles and gophers mixed up. Moles do not eat

plants, they only eat earthworms, grubs, etc. Gophers eat subterranian

plants. That being said, both are deterred by such a device.

Also, Dina - who was writing for Lauren about starting a South Bay-based

veggie playground, tell her that once she has internet access, to look at

www.vegfamily.com, which lists playgroups by state - there may already be

one, I think, in the Palo Alto area that she could join. And if there

isn't, she can post about starting one there.
