Simply contact the organization yourself and ask them to send the following documents to: Working Assets /Donations Manager 101 Market Street, Suite 700 San Francisco, CA 94105 Note: To be considered for funding in 2005, all nominations must be received by June 30, 2004. What to Send: * Cover letter referencing your name as only customers can nominate * Proof of nonprofit status * 2003 annual report with financial statements Funding Eligibility The organization must be national or international in scope, have at least one year of proven effectiveness, and work in one of the following five issue areas: * Civil Rights * Economic & Social Justice * Environment * Peace & International Freedom * Education & Freedom of Expression (Sorry, we do not fund groups that are local in scope, raise awareness of or research a particular disease, or work within a specific religion or denomination.) Distributing the Donations After an independent foundation evaluates the effectiveness of the hundreds of nominees, Working Assets employees and board of directors select the groups for our annual donations ballot. Customers then vote on how to distribute the donations among the finalists.
