I have been seeing Dr. Carl Hangee-Bauer, ND/LAc for several years now for a

serious illness with wonderful results. Although he doesn't always

necessarily promote a vegan diet for every patient or condition, he has

always been very respectful of my vegan lifestyle and chosen diet, he never

recommends herbal preparations that include non-vegan ingredients (insects,

organs, body parts, gelatin, etc.), and always makes sure to supply me with

any recommended dietary supplements in veggie-cap format.

 

I highly recommend him. His wife and office manager is an animal rights

activist (although she is not vegetarian, she eats fish) - they are a really

nice couple who run a very professional clinic. Dr. Hangee-Baucer is very

accomplished and well-respected as an ND.
