It's dismal that the folks who profit from this cruelty were able to get 900 letters *against* this bill. I'm not surprised though.. I had heard (on the radio) that the local restaurant association was really encouraging its members to write in opposition to this bill.

Likewise, I encourage everyone here to send a handwritten letter to their State Senator, even if it is just a one line letter saying "Please support SB 1520." If just half the people on this list write, that would be 500 letters supporting the bill!

Please look up your State Senator and send a letter or postcard today! Remember to sign your letter and provide your address.
