Thursday - Herbivore dinner & Movie afterwards

Hi folks,

Well, I think there is a very real possibility that Herbivore on Valencia (which is currently closed for remodelling) will *still* be closed for remodelling on Thursday. We had hoped to have dinner there, and then go over to the Artists Television Access for the screening of The Emotional World of Animals (a wonderful film to share with non-veg people to give them an insight as to WHY you're vegetarian; no violence, blood or gore).

Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternate dinner spot? If so, please let me know!

OR, if anyone has an inside line to Herbivore and knows 'for sure' when they'll be opening (it's been rumored to be 'next week' since March!), do tell! I also was at the restaurant on Divisadero recently, and noticed that prices have increased and they have a URL for the restaurant on their menus now.
