Veg starter guide newspaper stands

Next time you're in the Haight, check out the newspaper stand offering free

vegetarian starter guides right in front of Ben & Jerry's! This is part of

PETA's effort to get free veg starter guides in newspaper stands all over

the country. I have a permit to put as many of these stands out as I want in

SF, and if you live out of the city, you can apply to get a permit at the

Dept. of Public Works in your city. Then PETA (or I) can supply you with

newspaper stands and veg starter guides to put in your community. The key is

having a heavily trafficked place to put it in a neighborhood where someone

can take personal responsibility for keeping it stocked w/ veg starter

guides and keeping the stand neat (removing stickers or any other kind of

vandalism that may befall it). If anybody is interested in helping, please
