late evening vegan places open for dessert or snack

I have a friend coming in from Canada next Friday 3/12 for a weekend of vegan

eating out. I need to try to find a veg*n restaurant, preferably right in San

Francisco, that is open late to serve vegan desserts or snacks. Her plane

isn't getting in until 8 in the evening and she has checked bags. She's staying

at a place in San Francisco in the Richmond district but we could make it

anywhere in the city. We'd need a place that was open until at least 10 or 11 on

Friday evenings. Thanks for any suggestions.

Herbivore is great for late night dining. I believe they're open until 10 or 11 pm on Friday & Saturday.

It's one of my favorite places to eat. I'm a big fan of the marinated tofu sandwich with pesto. For appetizers, I like the zataar. And if you like vegan desserts, they have cakes by Black China!!

Maggie Mudd in Bernal Heights makes vegan sundaes and wafflecones and has a large selection of vegan ice creams. Most and best in the area. I think they're open to 11 pm on weekends. You might wanna give them a call to make sure. You might also want to get there a little earlier. They sometimes run out of their more popular flavors.
