Guest guest
Hi folks, Wow, we've had an amazing response for the Bay Area Vegetarians Monthly SF dinner at Shangri-La Vegetarian Restaurant on Thursday. 19 folks gathered to share good food, conversation, and community over our 9-course vegan dinner. When folks were asked what they liked best about the event, the comments reflected our purpose for having these events , such as: "Plenty of good food. Quantity + quality!" "Meeting & talking w/new people over great food." "Getting a variety of yummy foods!" So, for those seeking to connect with the local veg community, I would encourage you to attend one of our monthly dinners : - SF: two dinners now! 2nd Wednesday - Golden Era (Dave G.), Last Thursday - Shangri-La (Tammy & Chris) - Oakland: 3rd Sunday - New World (Bob) - Palo Alto: 2nd Tuesday - Bay Leaf (Sean) Details for all of these events are at: http://www.bayareaveg.org/events.php And, if you don't see an event happening in your neighborhood, or the event that you were looking for, step up and organize it . The next Shangri-La dinner is 3/25. Again, it will be 9-courses for $15/tax-tip included. Remember, seating is limited. Since we already have 5 seats filled, I would encourage folks to get their payment in early. We're finalizing the menu details now and will post when that's available or you can see details on the Shangri-La dinner page: http://www.bayareaveg.org/sfdinner.htm Cheers, Tammy Bay Area Vegetarians Bay Area Vegetarians - http://www.BayAreaVeg.org
