CORRECTION: Golden Era Dinner party series starts Wednesday, March 10

Hey Folks,

Regarding the vegan dinner party series at Golden Era...

It will be the second WEDNESDAY of each month. Golden Era is one of the

greatest restaurants in The City with a vast menu, and we'll have a great

time as the vegetarians and friends are a very nice and lively crowd. I go

there myself fairly often.

The first meeting will be WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10. Golden Era, 572 O'Farrell

Street (near Leavenworth.)

We'll gather at 6:30pm and eat at 7pm. We will simply order from the menu

for this first one, (maybe next time I'll get efficient and have people send

checks and negotiate a discount.)

Please RSVP to me No Later Than monday, March 8 so I can be sure to make a

big enough reservation.

Some other basics: We'll only order vegan items, even though Golden Era does

have a few non-vegan items. Family Style.

But the truth of the matter is that the best way to get there is by transit,

take the #38 bus to Leavenworth and stroll down to O'Farrell in case you're

not already on that street. Coming by BART just get off at Embarcadero, go

out the southeasternmost exit and catch the 38 at Fremont street. The 38

actually starts from the transbay terminal so if you use AC Transit's

transbay service that's another way. Email me for Caltrain directions or

specifics from other parts of town.
