Run for the Seals with Team IDA

We are excited to let you know Eric Harr's second event of his

Ultimate Challenge In Defense of Animals is approaching. On

Saturday, March 13, Eric Harr and Team IDA will run or walk in The

Run for the Seals, an annual fundraising event for The Marine Mammal

Center. This unique event is a 4-mile run/walk that takes place in

the Marin Headlands. The best part about this race is that your four-

legged training partners are allowed to accompany you on the course.

That's right, your dog can participate too!

 

Many Team IDA members have already committed to participate in The

Run for the Seals. Our goal is to surpass the attendance we had at

the San Francisco Half-Marathon. Check out what Eric has to say

" We have a chance to light up the world here with our bodies,

with

our spirits and on behalf of animals. By putting one foot in front

of the other and just coming out and participating in this event on

March 13th, you will have tons of fun, you will improve your health

and you will benefit the welfare of animals worldwide. Then you can

have all the soy ice cream you want after the race. You will have

Registration is limited to the first 2,000 registrants, so do not

delay in registering for this event. You can register by going to

www.runfortheseals.org, but remember you must join Team IDA if you

have not done so.

 

Leading up to March 13, Team IDA will be accompanying Eric in running

or walking the race course on Sunday, February 29, at 1pm. This is a

great way to gain some familiarity with the course before race day,

and also have the opportunity to spend time getting to know the Bay

Area Team IDA members.

to find all the information you need on both the Ultimate Challenge
