Vegan household seeks housemate in Berkeley

2 adjoining rooms are available for either one person, or if desired, two

people (or home business) for $700. One room is a sun-room with a private

balcony, view of the west, sunset & trees. Both rooms have a closet. Rooms

are private when closed off from rest of house.

 

House is 4-5 bedroom, 2 bath, 2-story victorian-era. On fairly quiet street,

on-street parking, diverse, dynamic neighborhood.

 

Other housemates are a mom, her 12 year old son, a male housemate and 3

mainly outdoor cats. We are primarily vegan and environmentally conscious in

practice. We therefore seek housemate(s) who holds same values.

 

Share common areas: large kitchen, bathroom with one person, washer & dryer,

back yard with veggie garden, deck.

 

Indoor space for one bicycle.

 

We are 4 blocks from Ashby BART, major bus lines. Walking distance to

Berkeley Bowl, Whole Foods, downtown Berkeley. We're on a bike boulevard.

 

Utilities average $50/month for electricity, gas & water. Rooms have cable

and phone lines installed.

 

Move-in with 1st, last, + $325 deposit (if one person).
