Guest guest Posted February 8, 2004 Report Share Posted February 8, 2004 Hi folks, One of the primary goals of Bay Area Vegetarians and this mailing list, SFBAVEG, is to help folks find camaraderie & friendly support for their veg*n lifestyle. "Back in the old days" of SFBAVEG, we were a much smaller community and people would often introduce themselves when they joined the community. For awhile, we even had the intros archived on our website! It is always really nice to finally meet someone in person with whom you've met "online" via SFBAVEG. So, to keep our community spirit alive: 1) Please sign your posts! I think this is especially relevant when you're offering an opinion or a perspective. So don't be a stranger! And if you're really feeling community-oriented, try putting your city after your name! Who knows, you may think you're the only veggie person in Vallejo but maybe you're not! 2) Introduce yourself!
