Guest guest
All, I had brunch with some friends on Sunday at Stoa restaraunt in Palo Alto (www.stoarestaurant.com). I think it's an understatement to say how delicous the food was, and how accomodating everyone was to our vegan needs. :-) If you haven't tried their Sunday brunch, you should check it out. It's vegetarian/vegan decadence at its best. For $16.95, you order a main entree, and then you are off to a buffet table of Mediterrean delights--salads, fresh fruit, breads, cookies, etc.! There's also fresh juices and coffee. Honestly, the buffet table alone had more than enough food to fill us up, but we stayed strong and kept on eating! The new vegan executive chef brought us out huge pieces of amazing vegan quiche and the best chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies I've ever tasted. He also informed us that he will be reworking the menu in the next couple of weeks so that all of the vegetarian dishes on the brunch and dinner menus can also be served vegan! So, make your stomach very happy and show your support! :-)
Guest guest
Great review. STOA's won a well deserved award for "Best New Veggie Restaurant" in our recent restaurant competition. See http://www.bayareaveg.org/bestof03.htm We also organized a dinner for BAVRT there last year and we all had a great time. I would highly recommend trying out the dinner menu. It's nice to see that they're reworking the brunch to be more vegan friendly.
