Guest guest
Assembly Bill 732, by Berkeley Assemblywoman Loni Hancock, to outlaw the notorious veal crate, will be heard in the Assembly Agriculture Committee on Wednesday, January 14, room 4204 in the State Capitol, 1:30pm. Alfredo Kuba, of South Bay In Defense of Animals, will be driving to Sacramento in his customized truck, replete with video screens and banners depicting the deplorable conditions these animals are forced to endure. He's in need of someone to ride shotgun and videotape any potential harassment from various and sundry. He has a videocamera already, but needs someone to operate it, if necessary. Can you help, or recommend someone who could? Call Alfredo at 650/965-8705, or email him at bkind2animals. You could ride up with him, or hook up in Sacramento. Thanks.
