Guest guest
Hey all, Just tried these 2 new products, Trader Joe's Soymilk Shampoo and Conditioner, and I'm quite impressed. They work well and have our favorite ingredient. I was concerned about animal testing, so I called head office in Southern California, 626-441-1177 (hard number to find - keep it on file!), to ask them about it. They had good news for me. Although not labeled, they assured me that all Trader Joe's health and beauty products are cruelty-free. This is not a blanket statement for all products in the store. Cool, huh? Ciao, Clyde
Guest guest
I found out recently that, tho' a product might be " cruelty free " it doesn't mean every ingredient is plant-NOT-animal-based. It took about a month for Aveda to get back to me with that inquiry. They like to say their products are cruelty-free, but when they tracked their ingredients back to their sources, some of them were animal-derived. That's the second question to ask. Guest guest
I've called Trader Joe's again. They stated that none of the " Trader Joe's " brand of health and beauty products contain any animal products. This comes straight from the buyer's mouth at Trader Joe's. Cool, eh?
