Guest guest
Hi folks, At our most recent VFP in Montara, your dutiful food reporter was there. To insure a quality food experience, she tasted nearly all the dishes (until she reached maximum load capacity) and reports that everything was very yummy. Here are some of the dishes and their recipes that were shared at the December VFP: Yellow Corn Bread, Spinach Salad with Curry Dressing, Barley Wheatberry Salad, Mixed vegetables dish, Vegetable Soup with homemade garlic herb bread, Hummus, Mashed Sweet & Russet Potatoes, Peasant's Pie, Baby Bella Risotto, Spicy Mushrooms, Orange Sesame Udon Noodles, Broccoli/Mushroom/Brown Rice Casserole, Roasted Potatoes, Cheezecake, Millennium Chocolate Midnight Mousse Cake with Raspberry Sauce, Applesauce Cake, Raspberry Lemon Tart, Apple Cake and Soy Nog. Of course, this is only a sampling as we had one table of desserts and another long table of salads & entrees. She encourages attendees to contact her with additional food reports and recipes for this or earlier Vegan Food Parties. It's a work in progress so far and can be seen at: http://www.bayareaveg.org/recipes_camping.htm Cheers, Tammy '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''' Get the veg vote out!!
