RE: Vegetarian Organizations in the Bay Area

" My best XMAS present today was when my friend called me and said, " I am going

to be a vegetarian from now on. " ....... "

 

HERE'S ANOTHER ONE:

 

 

I had Christmas lunch with an old friend at the New World Vegetarian Cafe, in

Oakland. He's veg friendly, veg considerate, but not veg. We had a fabulous

meal. He ordered barbecued portabella strips on a bed of vermicelli and pesto,

and when we finished eating he announced that he was going to go veg in the new

year!
