If you call ahead of time (or order by phone), check if they are serving Vegan Vietnamese hot and sour soup $3.50 or Vietnamese Crepes $3.75 (vegan, made with curry powder for color, eat it as soon as you get it so it will not get hard), steam bun filled with vegan goodies $ .80. Next year, I will do a dim sum party there. If I do not find a home to host the event, we will just eat standing up-cocktail style dim sum party. Lu Lai in Milpitas was the last place that had vegan dim sum. Please make sure they do not sprinkle pink fake fish eggs in your sushi. == Possible 2004 Veg restaurants based on " hearsay " Organic Cafe wants to open a restaurant in Berkeley if the owner can get the funds together. A SFBayVeg member is collecting data to open a restaurant in Berkeley. MORE than 3 Veg restaurant want to open in SF. I know one Living Foods restaurant is trying to open, but the process is slow. The owner has many years of experience in the restaurant business, but not in the Living Foods area. The location will be in the Marina district. A Great Vegan restaurant has been looking for the perfect location in the SF Castro location for over a year. Reward offerred, if you can help scout the right restaurant. Please email me.
