Guest guest
This is actually really funny. The woman who wrote this article was in the November cooking class and didn't tell me she was from the paper until the end of the class. She said she didn't want to tell me because she didn't know if she would make the deadline but that she thoroughly enjoyed the class and wanted to try and get it in. I never heard from her, so I assumed she didn't write it -- until someone sent me the link today. It's really funny, because she does exaggerate a bit in the article for humor's sake, but she isn't that far off the mark. It was a " tough crowd " that day. Glad I held my own! Ya never know when a journalist will be lurking in the crowd! For those of you who have been to the classes in the past, I do encourage you to write to the editor and offer a more rounded perspective - that the class serves the purpose of making veganism look easier rather than more difficult! http://www.eastbayexpress.com/issues/2003-11-26/foodfetish.html/1/index.html Letters to the Editor: Use form whose link is at the end of the article All the best, Colleen Patrick-Goudreau --------------------- --------------------- Watch " Meet Your Meat " narrated by Alec Baldwin http://www.meetyourmeat.com " All beings tremble before violence.
