Guest guest
Hi folks! As many of you know from recent messages, VIVA! USA (based in Davis, CA) is at a critical point to establish funding to continue their work for the animals and promoting veganism. So, the four of us (Nicole, Regina, Chris and myself) pooled our funds to establish $1,000 to match donations, dollar-for-dollar, from other local folks, to raise necessary funds for VIVA. In just a week, we have raised almost $700 for VIVA! And, now, we have some GREAT news to share with you -- a very generous friend of animals, who wishes to remain anonymous, has added $1,000 to the pool of matching funds!!!!! Folks, this is a great opportunity to have YOUR donation to a non-profit organization working for the animals DOUBLED. We have $1,660 left in matching funds, so please take advantage of it. VIVA has a proven track record of helping the animals with their campaigns and supporting local organizations here in the Bay Area. If you have family members who don't know what to give you as a holiday or birthday present, tell them to give an early gift to you and the animals by join us in supporting VIVA with a donation! Even just a dollar or two from you, matched by us, becomes two or four dollars! Cheers, Tammy & Chris How to get your donation matched: 1) Since some have asked, we can accept PayPal if it is from an existing PayPal balance or bank account - that way 100% of your money will go to VIVA. 2) For those of you who have a credit card VIVA can accept donations that way thru their website (www.vivausa.org), but make sure to write us so that we can match your donation. 3) Send check (made payable to Viva!USA) or well-wrapped cash to: Chris James, P.O. Box 371215, Montara, CA 94037 4) Fundraiser status: http://www.bayareaveg.org/viva_match.htm 5) Viva!USA is a non-profit 501©(3) organization; donations are tax-deductible 6) If you missed the original messages with the update from VIVA or the details on our dollar-for-dollar matching fundraiser for VIVA, please see the following messages in the archives - /message/6023 /message/6024
