Vegan Dinners

Hello Veggie Friends-

 

Just a reminder, I'm hosting a series of Vegan Dinners in Silicon Valley Area.

 

The first dinner is less than two weeks away! Dec 13th Saturday, 6:30 p.m., at

Amarin Thai Mountain View. This an interesting place. There are two Amarin Thai

Restaurants just two doors down from each other on Castro Street. The owner is a

veggie, so he opened the second restaurant that is a completely Vegan Thai

restaurant. (yes, and entire menu to choose from for our descrimating Vegans!).

 

This restaurant is often empty, so I wanted to introduce this wonderful on-line

community to this great place, to support his efforts!

 

Despite this being a Thai place they tend to make things on the mild side, you

have ask them to spice it up! So, this is still a great place for both the more

and less adventurous palates.

 

We'll be meeting at the restaunt ( 156 Castro Street) at 6:15 pm. If you are

facing the restaurant there's on Amarin Thai to the left of " Pasta? " That one is

the mixed meat/veggie place. We'll be meeting at the other Amarin Thai which is

to the right of " Pasta? " ...not as ornate, but you'll see the neon " Vegetarian "

sign in the window. there's a parking garage with free parking in the back.

For public transportation people, the restaurant is only one block from the

Mountain View train station (Caltrain and VTA).

 

We'll order off the menu and share. Please bring ~$15 for when we split the

bill. (Plan on the the bill being $9 plus tip, extra if you order drinks).

 

Please RSVP (lori_nami) by Tuesday Dec 9th so we can be sure this

restaurant can handle all of us.

 

 

The other events I'll be hosting are listed below. I'll follow-up with details

on each as they approach.

 

Jan 18th, Sunday at 12 noon, Dish Dash (Mediterranean food) in Sunnyvale

Feb 22nd, Sunday at 6 pm, Zeni Ethiopian in San Jose

March date to be announced, VFP in Mountain View
