Guest guest
i just wanted to send a warning to all my fellow ethical shoppers out there, especially with the holiday shopping season upon us. earlier today, i visited the Diesel store on market and castro in san francisco, and i was quite surprised to see that they carried clothing with rabbit fur trim. when i asked the sales clerk why Diesel is suddenly using fur, i actually learned something quite disturbing: Diesel had always used fur, but, until recently, chose not to carry fur in their california shops. how sleazy is that. for those of us who boycott shops and designers that sell the fur of dead animals, it is extra important to research the entire business, beyond just looking around the sales floor. if clothing companies are indeed hiding their disgusting activities from cities with a dense veggie and activist demographic, we shouldn't let them get away with it. so, spend a few moments to research your favorite shops and designers. demand to know who is too ashamed to peddle cruelty in california, and tell them that you refuse to give them another dollar. -- steve simitzis : /sim' - i - jees/ pala : saturn5 productions www.steve.org : 415.282.9979 hath the daemon spawn no fire?
