Greetings Fellow Vegetarians & Vegans,

 

If you are interested in helping to get Green Party candidate Matt Gonzalez

elected mayor of San Francisco, please email me privately at

Matt Gonzalez authored legislation to codify the language of San Francisco

so that those of us with companion animals can now consider ourselves

guardians, not owners, of our furry friends. More recently, In Defense of

Animals awarded Matt with a " Distinguished Guardian Award " at the

organization's first annual banquet (Matt shared honors with other highly

regarded " animal people " including Dr. Jane Goodall and Genesis Awards

founder Gretchen Wyler). In short, Matt is an extremely animal-friendly

politician, and he has also rec'd an " A+ " from the Sierra Club for his

environmental work (his opponent for mayor rec'd a " D " ).

 

I've formed an interest group " Vegetarians & Vegans for Gonzalez. " This is a

loosely-nit group of supporters who would be willing to volunteer as much or

as little time and effort as they feel comfortable in a myriad of ways to

help get Matt elected. Some possible duties include volunteering for a day

at the campaign office, donating (or cooking) veg food for the campaign

volunteers, or hosting a house party to show the unified support of the veg

community (and encourage other veggies to join in the fun). For additional
