Guest guest
Hi everyone, Tomorrow at 7pm, concerned citizens will go before the Sonoma City Council to ask that the city ban the sale of foie gras because of its cruelty to animals and the stigma associated with selling such cruelty. Activists there have collected over 600 signatures, which they will present to the City Council at the meeting. There's also an online petition at: http://www.petitiononline.com/FoieGras/petition.html. Please take a minute to sign it to make the list look a bit more impressive to the City Council. The meeting will take place at 7pm tomorrow night at Council Chambers at 177 1st St. W. in Sonoma at 7pm. (Here's a map: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US & addtohistory= & address=177+1s t+St.+W & city=Sonoma+ & state=CA & zipcode= & homesubmit=Get+Map) Letters to Mayor Ashford and the City Council can be sent to: #1 The Plaza Sonoma, CA 95476 Phone calls should be made to: 707-933-2216.
