farm sanctuary - carpools?

I've organized a van to take up to Farm Sanctuary's Celebration for the Turkeys

on 11/22. We filled up very quickly and are even supplementing with another car.

I have been getting a lot of inquiries about carpooling up from the SF Bay Area

and thought I saw other people carpooling for this event.

Can you let me know who to refer people to if I get any other inquiries?

Many thanks,

Colleen

Today, I spoke with Sara White, Outreach coodinator in NY. I

recommended her to start something with.

I know there's a need for carpool. Maybe sign up for it now. (It

just needed contact info and info about the event, to establish a

formal carpool.)

I had told farm Sanctuary a month ago about this info. Today,

someone finally returned my call.

Last year, I saw single drivers and people with just one passengers

coming up to the farm. A van driver said he could of taken more

people but didn't know who else would want a ride.

Last year, animal lover, Colleen Patrick spent extra money to rent a

van, insurance & paid for gas to haul a bunch of friends (mostly meat

eaters) to the event. She did not charge a lot for the Van Ride

cause she wanted people to go up there.

I'll keep you in touch of any news. Farm Sanctuary might not do

anything till Monday.

I know a lot of friends going and I'll make sure all their empty

seats are filled. I can not know if my friends are going until the

last day or so.
