Just a FYI regarding the SFBAVEG mailing list -- we do have guidelines for

posts to the list. As we have ample unique volume on the list, we prohibit

reposting news articles (unless they have a local slant), as well as

reposting national/international news alerts.

Additionally, I would like to remind everyone that just because a person is

vegan does not automatically make anything and everything they do of

interest to this mailing list.

 

Please make sure that any post about any individual's local events,

reposting news articles about this person, or pleas for volunteers to help

this person, are generally not appropriate UNLESS you spell out how it

connects and belongs on a local community list for vegetarianism and animal

rights.

 

There are many OTHER lists for national/international issues. This is a

LOCAL community list for vegetarianism and animal rights. This is NOT a

list for political debate or discussion.

 

Please keep this in mind. This will avoid confusion down the line. If you

have any questions about this, please contact me privately.
