Guest guest
On Taco Bell: Heck, forget just the burritos, I've found that they'll happily put beans on whatever you wish. Get combo #N (N=1,...,8?), say " beans instead of beef " , and you're set. I was requesting such substitutions when I lived on the East coast, and sometimes had puzzled responses from the folks out there. But, out here it's been amazing: I think that there's some other people doing the same, because the Taco Bell folks here seem to consider it entirely logical that beans can be used in place of beef, chicken, etc. Bean tacos, bean chalupas, whatever. Be sure to request substitution for the lowest priced meat version. Actually, one East/West coast difference is that in the East they sometimes want to charge extra for the beans (even though you're telling them they get to keep the meat), whereas California locations don't seem to do that. Another sign of enlightenment. Kudos to the creators of the Meatrix. David
