Guest guest
Hi, I was just wondering if you guys could help me with something.. I would really appreciate it.. I have a speech I have to do for my school(it's actually a competition).. and the topic is wide open so I chose to do vegetarianism since I'm a vegetarian. What kind of topic do you think would be interesting to the public and at the same time, bringing an awareness to the society? (interestingness and awareness is the requirement.) Also, I'm kind of nervous and I want it to be good at least because this is going to be the first time I'm going to do a speech in front of judges. The topic that I'm thinking is modern farming. I'm also thinking about philosophical arguments for vegetarianism. But do you guys think I should go for philosophical reasons for vegetarianism or modern farming? Which one do you think would interest people more? Or do you have a more interesting topic for making a speech on vegetarianism? I would really appreciate it if you guys just drop a line of suggestion. Thank you so much. Sincerely, Tet Khine
Guest guest
Hi Tet, In my opinion, the Factory Farming angle may garner you a wider audience due to the environmental impact. There's also plenty of good info on the Web to support your argument. For starters, there's a PETA fact sheet on it: http://www.peta-online.org/mc/facts/fsveg3.html And a Sierra Club page: http://www.sierraclub.org/factoryfarms/ -Josh htetwintkhine wrote: > Hi, > I was just wondering if you guys could help me with something..
