Horrific story on KPIX's Evening Magazine

Hey folks,

 

Next week, KPIX's Evening Magazine on Channel 5 is featuring a story about a

woman, who happens to be a grandmother, who hunts down and kills bears. What I

gathered from their promo is that they are taking the angle that it's amusing

and quaint that a grandmother hunts bears. The angle that they should, of

course, be taking is that it's horrific that anyone would do such a thing. In

any

case, it's stories like these that desensitize the public to animal

suffering.

What you can do:

Write to James Reid, story coordinator at reid

Tell him you are outraged and highly offended by the approach they are taking

to this story.
