Halloween Treats

Hi all,

 

I'm wondering what vegan treats people give out on

Halloween. I have done a choice of small boxes of

organic raisins or Earth Balls (expensive!) in the

past (letting the kids decided which they prefer and

some actually chose the raisins), but I'm thinking

about making a change this year. Any suggestions?

Hi Dianne,

 

My wife and I went to Target and found a suprising amount of vegan candy

there--Laffy Taffy, blow pops, etc. They even had big vegan (not

intentional, i'm sure) candy assortment bags.

 

I don't draw my own vegan line at refined sugar, so I guess some of the

stuff is not truly vegan in that case. As much as I would like give out

Tropical Source bars to the kids, it would put me in the poor house!
