Guest guest
I was glad to hear all of the different ideas and feelings...thx everyone for your thoughts. I started the vegan cats thread, it stirred things up and i appreciated all of your comments. Let me rephrase myself and tone things down....my view is that vegetarian pet food is better than meat pet food. Animals can be fooled into thinking that they are eating meat. If we keep feeding our animals meat it gives the meat industry yet another reason to stay in business. Vegetarian pet food exists, and it has all the nutrients your pet needs. Meat pet food contains the worst meat at the slaughterhouse. I have read it even contains infected brain matter (McDonalds burgers as well) Its basically poison. Your pet would probably live longer on vegetarian pet food. Lets keep the debates civil, stick together team! all best 2 you The New with improved product search

Hi. Please understand that I do write this as a vegan. Even if you fool the animal's palate into thinking he/she is eating meat, you are not going to fool his/her body, which has evolved to need a meat-based diet (for cats anyway. dogs CAN be successful vegetarians). best, Stephanie
