Guest guest Posted October 16, 2003 Report Share Posted October 16, 2003 Hi all - i am new to this group and have enjoyed reading all the fabulous answer and question stuff that people post and just the general information as well. So of course i have a question. or six or seven. This is my 2nd time around going the veg route. the first time was a few years ago and i lost far too much weight and strength. I have an extremely physical job and work out with weights at a gym 4 times a week (to help me stay in shape for my job) and i do plenty of cardio exercise too. So i am wondering if anyone out there has suggestion for me on getting enough protein? i prefer to go the vegan route as opposed to the vegetarian route. i eat tempeh every day. i do not care for tofu- sorry i have tried and i just can't do it. i also do not care for soy yogurt. does anyone have a suggestion for a good tasting soy protein shake mix? also any suggestions on supplements and on reading materials or web sites or whatever..... i am really committed to doing this the right way this time. thank you very much ahead of time for your suggestions, input, and help. peace to you and all the beings in the world. nine (pronounced like neen) nicholson Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
