Convincing meateaters to stop thru literature

I recently wrote a story that I hope will promote

vegetarianism amongst meateaters.  I am hoping to get it published,

but would like fellow vegans to read it and let me know if and how I

should revise it so that it is more effective.  I have gotten a lot

of compliments on it so please give it a try.  I know it is is kind

of long, 74 pages plus the afterword. To read the story itself you

don't have to print up the afterword which starts on page 65. I know

it costs a lot for printer ink and paper, but if you print and read

it, I would be more than happy to send you $5.00 to cover that

expense. Just send me your address. If $5.00 is not enough, just

let me know. I have noticed many vegetarians/vegans don't have much

money.

One Vegan glanced through the story and said she could not

tell it was about animal rights. Much of the story is also about the

social causes of animal abuse.  At the beginning of the story it is

not quite clear that this is what is being explored.  Maybe one

criticism is that it should be more strident from the beginning? But

then again, it may be better that the reader be led into this

exploration unawares since meateaters are the hoped for audience and

going into an anti-meat tone right away might turn them off.   If you

read it, tell me what you think.  Just write me and say you would

like to give it a read and I will send it off to you. If you have

some meateater friends who also like to read, this might get them to

stop.
