Guest guest
The two owners of Bay Leaf Cafe are vegan and I'm pretty sure their spouses are vegan too. The owners bent over backwards to give you the best selection of vegan ice creams. (I'm not sure if they have the freezer space to stock a large variety) They charge EXTRA for milk in your coffee. Guess what, people go straight for the soy cream, which is NO extra charge. (did you hear that Starbucks?) (smile) I heard Bay Leaf Cafe will be present at World Veg Day. They will be selling their delicious vegan food. ---- Organic Cafe still offers breakfast cause there was a massive amount of compliants when breakfast stopped. Unfortunately, usually a TOTAL of 10 people shows up for breakfast. I don't know how long the owner can accommodate this extra expense. I personally don't care for buffet breakfast, because, I tend to gorge myself and get tired/sleepy from all the food. The breakfast is a super great deal. I think it doesn't do well cause people usually have to rush to work and can't take the time to eat a big breakfast on a weekday. signature: World Veg Day, Oct 4, http://sfvs.org/wvd2003/welcome.html free dinner, snacks and t-shirt for volunteers click on " volunteer " to sign up http://www.bayareaveg.org / http://www.vegdining.com http://www.sfvs.org Living Foods: SFLivingFoods/ due to my high amount of emails, I am unable to answer everyone's emails on vegetarian questions.
